Quick visit to New York and had to go to one of our favorite herring places: Glaubers in Monsey, N.Y. One of those places herring lovers need to get to!!!
They have a really nice selection of herrings--- shtiglitz, dill, mustard and more.

While you're at it -- pick up one of their special potato kugels - the ones cooking for more than 24 hours. Now you're ready to kiddush it up!
